Pixel Stretching

I’m mostly a photographer but I like to alter my images to make them into something new, as I feel photography is too simplistic at times - somewhat similar to how I feel about AI as well. In some of my latest camera work I have been selecting thin groups of pixels and stretching the hell out of them. It’s such a simple method, but I like how it blends the real with the abstract, minimalism, color field… Well, I decided to do the same with MidJourney. To have some fun, I played with emoji prompts and then got to stretching!
