Prompt Design Resources for MidJourney AI

by Shane McGeehan

Blog: Post

This is a piece I began a little while ago and finally felt the need to finish, given the recent news. I don’t plan to get political on this page often, but I also don’t care if I turn people away because of this particular frustration. Something needs to be done, and we never do enough.

Since I use this blog to talk about techniques, this one involved a few. I created large JPGs of separate letters and then used them as image prompts in order to make the stylized font (a method I came up with for getting cool fonts in MidJourney). The prompt for the letters are linked below. It took some random weight changes to get the look I wanted. I then upscaled in Visions Of Chaos, cleaned, and composited in Photoshop. Lastly, I made an image of the flag covered in ammo, reversed it (a signal of distress), and added final touches like masking, shadows, and painting slight tones of color in.
